The high numbers of staff and visitors, each day, makes it extremely difficult to maintain high hygeine levels which are needed to minimise the spread of infection. In recent years there have been many unfortunate cases of infection in patients of the MRSA and C-DIFf superbugs, with some devastating outcomes. Our company, in partnership with 'Giltech Laboratories' developed a range of hygeinic coatings, which are activated by moisture during the cleaning activity or from contact with trhe persons hand. This activation leaves the surface proactive in the protection against such deadly bacteria. These coatings will remain dormant until activated by moisture, so that its effective resistance can last for several years. It is also suitable for application in manufacturing processes of modular equipment and buildings, such as field hospitals or pre-fabricated buildings. Once the building arrives at site and is erected,it can be washed down with water and is then its inherent protection is immediately active.
